KARO Architects is a New York based practice with experience in residential, commercial and institutional projects of varied scales. The common theme that ties their projects together is the search for unique contemporary solutions, tailored to each client’s specific requirements and interests. Often this entails conversations with and within existing architectures, which shape the discourse held in their studio.

KARO Architects was founded by Sebastian Kaempf and Anke Roggenbuck in 2013. Their collaboration began ten years prior as colleagues at a renowned architecture firm in NYC, where they teamed up on residential and commercial interiors as well as ground-up construction in the public and private realm. Sebastian and Anke have extensive architectural experience, with inter-disciplinary studies in Germany, Great Britain, and the United States. KARO Architects are licensed in New York State, Massachusetts and Germany.
